In the financial year 2022-23, tax certificates at source deducted from the profit earned on the savings certificates are being distributed from District Savings Offices/Bureaus and Special Bureau offices.

Achivements

 

The main function of the Directorate of National Savings is to encourage the people to save and finance the government budget by extracting the small savings of the scattered people through the National Savings Scheme. To that end National Savings Divisional Office, Rajshahi in the current financial year 2022-23 target of accumulation of savings through National Savings Scheme is Tk 1479 crore; Against which the achievement in the financial year is about Tk 404.90 crore, which is about 27.38 percent of the target. 
In the last financial years 2021-22 and 2020-21, the target of savings collection through National Savings Scheme was 950 and 9300 crores respectively; Against which the achievement is 532 and 523 crore taka respectively; Which is 55.98 and 56.23 percent of the target.
