In the financial year 2022-23, tax certificates at source deducted from the profit earned on the savings certificates are being distributed from District Savings Offices/Bureaus and Special Bureau offices.

The Department of National Savings, a consignment department of the Internal Resource Division of the Ministry of Finance, engaged in the collection of small savings of the people of the country. National Savings Directorate performs the full responsibility of preparing, implementing and maintaining sustainable savings schemes for the collection of internal assets. The National Savings Divisional Office is performing the overall responsibility of this division.
